My work moves into a marriage of sculpture and enamel where I find more satisfaction and more challenge. I enjoy creating floral forms that may or may not also incorporate function. This piece is sculpture only. I've also become fascinated with the variety of beautiful butterfly patterns throughout the world and in my own modern way use the floral and insect world together much like the Dutch painter  Jan van Huysum did in his  two dimensional paintings of the sixteenth century.
